12th Annual Wilton Manors Kiwanis BBQ BashThe 12th Annual Wilton Manors Kiwanis BBQ Bash is Saturday, May 4 from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Wilton Manors Kiwanis Clubhouse, 2749 NE 14th Ave., Wilton Manors. The Cost: $15 at the door and $10 in advance.


Island City Canoe RaceThe 22nd Annual Island City Canoe Race will be held on Saturday, May 18th, beginning at 10:00 am. The relay race is made up of men’s, women’s and co-ed teams of 10 members each. Teams paddle around the Island City, starting at Colohatchee Park Boat Ramp (1975 NE 15th Ave.) and continue around the City with exchange points along the Middle River. The finish of the race will be at Richardson Historic Park & Nature Preserve (1937 Wilton Drive). Immediately after the race we will celebrate the City’s 66th Birthday with food, music, drinks, entertainment and the presentation of trophies to the winning teams. For more information or to register please call 954-390-2130 or email [email protected]. Stonewall Pridefest 2013The Stonewall Festival is June 22-23. 
Saturday, June 22nd, the street will close and the party gets started at 5 p.m. with DJ’s spinning your favorites until the Stonewall Summer Pride Parade gets started at 7:30 p.m. When the parade completes there will be entertainment on the main stage for the rest of the night including the top three from the “Voice of Stonewall” competition!
Sunday, June 23rd, the big event gets started at 11 a.m. with our 2013 Street Festival, Market Place, Kid’s Zone and much more!  Entertainment will continue on the main stage throughout the day and do we have some things planned for this year. For more information visit StonewallSummerPride.
